Rarest is a small, independent word and trivia game. The idea is simple: we ask you to name something, and the less obvious your correct answer is, the higher you score.
What makes Rarest different
Most quizzes have one right answer. Rarest prompts have dozens or hundreds of right answers, and the game rewards you for finding the ones other people overlook. Naming France as a country in Europe is fine. Naming Liechtenstein is better.
Every prompt in Rarest was written for this game. Each one comes with a hand-built list of accepted answers, and every answer is placed in one of six rarity tiers, from Runway (everyone thinks of it) to Orbit (almost nobody does). The game currently has 400 prompts in eight categories: geography, animals, food and drink, sports, movies and TV, music, science and history.
How the game is built
- Fast and light: the whole game runs in your browser as a single page, with no account or install.
- Fair scoring: answers are checked against curated lists. Small typos and plurals are accepted, and ambiguous spellings are never guessed.
- Daily and unlimited: everyone shares the same daily round, and Unlimited mode lets you keep playing as long as you like.
Independence
Rarest is an independent game and is not affiliated with, endorsed by or connected to Krillion or any other game. We mention other games only to describe the style of play.
